Organizational Setting |
The Position: The Digitalization and Innovation Associate would be closely working with the country office programme and operations teams in assisting the digital transformation of the UNFPA office and the country programme 5 (2021-2025). Under the supervision of the programme management and coordination associate, you are part of the programme support team who provides integrated programme and operations support to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the UNFPA country programme as well as the office management by mainstreaming technology and innovation. Job Purpose: Under the direct supervision of the Programme Associate, Management and Coordination Support, you are a part of the country office programme support team which provides integrated support to the delivery of the country programme 5 results. You will support the development and implementation of the country programme 5 innovation strategy, and function as the Innovation focal point for the country office. In close collaboration with the programme team and the operations team, you will assist in the digital transformation so that innovation and technology become significant components of UNFPA programmes for delivering better, faster, and more impactful results. You will facilitate the introduction and implementation of relevant state-of-art technologies, ideas, and open solutions that produce programme efficiencies, accelerate the achievement of transformative results in the lives of women, girls, adolescents, and youth. You will also support the management of the organization's resources, assisting in implementing ICT standards and applications, managing data, information, and workflow. You will provide ICT and administrative support services and daily technical support to CO staff. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Qualifications and Experience |
|
Education: Completion of secondary school education is required. University Degree in Computer Science and/or, information and communication technology is desirable. An advanced degree in Computer Science and/or, information and communication technology is a plus. Knowledge and Experience:
