This scientific, educational and methodological guide is dedicated to the analysis of women's rights in Islam, theoretical problems of gender equality. This manual is a comprehensive study devoted to the study of the Islamic concept of women's rights and freedoms, the legal status of women in Islamic law, and the need to study women's rights as a component of human rights. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to approach the concepts of "equity" and "equality" based on the nature of men and women, that is, men and women are not equal physically and mentally, but this was revealed based on the studies and this does not mean that they cannot have equal rights in the family and society. In the manual, the history of attention to women's rights, women's rights in Islamic teachings, socio-economic, spiritual and cultural foundations for resolving women's issues in Islamic law from the point of view of civil law, family law, political law were carefully studied by providing strong evidence from the main sources of Islamic law - the Holy Quran and hadiths. Also, in the manual, the principles of women's rights in Islamic law are compared with modern legal systems, rights and freedoms in the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
