SDG Garden in numbers, Uzbekistan
Back in 2015, UN Uzbekistan laid the ground for UN Garden at the National Park of Uzbekistan in Tashkent. Two years later, we transformed it to SDG Garden to symbolize the sustainability where United Nations in Uzbekistan together with the government and with the help of development partners, the private sector as well as civil society come together in making this world a better place for all.
The SDG Garden, first of its kind, is a 153Sq meters area with 450 coniferous trees and shrubs planted which equally produces 117,000 pounds of oxygen. The garden features 17 boards and 8 illustrative messages to raise-awareness on SDGs. While the world community is aiming at 2030 adeadline for achieving them all, your contribution is essential since everyday matters.
